The Founder
Dr. AMK. Jambulingam, the founder Chairman started from the scratch business and has accomplished extraordinary things and brought great pride to his parents. He started Sree Sastha Institute of Engineering and Technology in 1999. That single seed of good thought is grown like a banyan tree spreading its branches in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Management Studies, Arts and Science, Pharmacy, Nursing, Polytechnic, Education and School. He has also gained the name of Industrialist, Educationist, Liberal donator and a kind-hearted man. In addition to that he also did financial help to the poor and offered free education to the economically poor students. As recognition for his service to the students and the economically backward public, he was awarded honorable doctorate from Colombo-Malaysian University in 2007. We praise, appreciate and follow his footsteps lifelong.

Prof .J.Kartheekeyan, B.E., M.B.A., an Industrialist, Educationist and a Mechanical Engineer spearheads Sree Saastha Institutions with the vision of providing quality education. The wisdom gained as an individual from membership in various professional bodies is the key for the quick development and achievement of the Institutions. He was on an exceptional Educational Mission to Singapore, Malaysia, China, far east countries and Europe that had transformed the Group’s Institutions into Institutes of Excellence with global standards. The Industry Institute interactions and societal orientation is the corridor characteristics of the Group acquired from the Chairman who was an Educational Subcommittee member in CII and currently an active member in FICCI and NASSCOM. Prof .J.Kartheekeyan is honored by Asia One- Process Reviewers Price Waterhouse Coopers as the “ Iconic Global Asian of the Year 2017” for embossing Asia on the world map and reaching the personage excellence in technology education and also in the same year received the coveted “Eminent Educationist Award “ for the entrepreneurship quality and visionary thinking, displaying skills in creating and sustaining educational institutions, engaging in continuous innovation, and exhibiting a high degree of accountability for quality education by The Indus Foundation.

Our college is having 14 Engineering UG programs, 8 PG Engineering and MBA programs. Our pride is our experienced, qualified and best faculties and staff. We recognize the traits and build environment to excel in research projects of faculty and students
The college gives due importance to co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Our students excel in intercollegiate and University competitions in extra-curricular events. College also conducts personality development programs, guest lecturers in general and technical areas for continuous improvement of students and faculty.
Training and placement department of our college helps students in making them aware about the various job opportunities in their respective fields with the aid in applying for the jobs and conducts campus interviews to recruit them when they are in final year of their graduation.
Our aim is to impart the best of the knowledge and technical knowhow to our students with required inputs, and the desire and ability to learn, lead and excel to make them responsible and respected citizens.
