The institution has established a Career Counseling and Guidance Cell to address the diverse socio-economic needs of students from various geographic backgrounds who constitute a very heterogeneous learner and job-seeker community. We endeavour to provide equity of access to placement opportunities through our institutional support systems. The placement cell also works at closing linguistic and cultural gaps between students. Students are provided with guidance so as to make them intellectually rigorous, socially committed, morally upright, spiritually inspired and ecologically sensitive and thus to create a vibrant academic community known for its innovation, intellectual rigour and social commitment.
The Career counseling and Guidance Cell (CCGC) functioning in the College take care of the On-Campus placement activities. CCGC brings students and Industrial community together in an effort to create an Industry-Institution Interaction. The doors of CCGC are open to all the students who are at the threshold of life and are faced by 3 D’s; “DARE DREAM DO”
CCGC organizes on campus and off campus recruitments and preplacement training programmes in Aptitude test, Group Discussions, Interviews and presentation skills in collaboration with the Dept. of Humanities and core departments. Mock interviews and GDs are conducted on a regular basis so as to equip final and pre-final students to face the challenges of the recruitment scenario.
CCGC enhances not only the employability skills of the students but also the overall development of their personality. Also CCGC organizes on campus and off campus recruitments and pre-placement training programmes in Aptitude test, Group Discussions, Interviews and presentation skills.
